Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restoration Leadership professional to join our dynamic team as a Lead Mitigation Technician.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a crew of technicians who respond to emergency and property-damaging situations, working safely and efficiently on the job site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians to address property and customer needs with skill, knowledge, and professionalism.
  • Recruit and coach technicians in the field and in the warehouse.
  • Survey damage within properties and evaluate and record damage to all items within the property.
  • Manage the cleaning process for both contents and structural damage.
  • Perform initial site visits, conduct moisture inspections, and set up restoration equipment.
  • Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS) and contact customers with ETA.
  • Take photos of jobs at start, completion, and throughout the process, and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment, keeping equipment clean and organized in the shop, and unloading trash in assigned areas.
  • Record time and code it to the job assigned, pass IICRC certifications, and assist in the development of new hires through on-the-job training.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred, with one or more years of experience within the restoration industry.

Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.
  • Constantly move about job sites.
  • Constantly position themselves to move about job sites, including stairs, walkways, roofs, and crawl spaces.
  • Occasionally ascend and descend a ladder to complete jobs.
  • Observe and perceive information on a computer and documents.
  • Frequently lift up to 60lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $37,000 - $43,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, paid holiday, vacation, and sick days, maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, company cell phone, advancement opportunities, and IICRC training and certifications.
