About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our retirement planning efforts and drive business growth through innovative strategies and solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing retirement planning initiatives that enhance organizational knowledge, promote financial well-being, and improve business effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain expertise in the latest retirement planning products, research, trends, and developments to inform business strategies and drive growth.
  • Design and lead research initiatives to advance Wells Fargo's thought leadership in retirement planning and wealth management.
  • Establish a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior and its impact on retirement planning decisions, including accumulating and decumulating assets, creating sustainable income streams, and navigating complex financial decisions.
  • Analyze data and draw insights to inform the development of innovative advice tools and resources, serving as a subject matter expert in the accuracy and relevance of advice content.
  • Prepare presentations to communicate behavioral and business insights to internal and external stakeholders, including Wells Fargo lines of business, clients, advisors, and relationship managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to drive business initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in business growth strategy, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial markets, ERISA, Department of Labor, and Best Interests rules, as well as retirement planning, income strategies, Social Security, Medicare, insurance, and risk management.
  • Strong skills in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business growth strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present research and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement innovative and significant business strategies working in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field, or relevant industry certifications such as CRPC, ChFEBC, CFP, JD, CRC, or ChFC.

This is a hybrid role that requires collaboration with teams across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
