Position Overview:

We are seeking a Radiologic Imaging Specialist dedicated to facilitating efficient patient experiences while delivering exceptional imaging services. This role entails operating imaging technology in accordance with physician directives to produce precise diagnostic images.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Procedures and Patient Interaction:
    • Execute X-ray examinations in line with physician guidelines.
    • Deliver exemplary patient care, prioritizing comfort and safety.
    • Support patients while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Equipment Management:
    • Operate imaging machinery effectively and maintain a clean workspace.
    • Transfer images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
    • Ensure imaging equipment is functional and request maintenance as necessary.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Assist colleagues in the healthcare team and contribute to departmental efficiency.
    • Carry out assigned tasks to maintain operational flow.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Completion of a high school diploma and a radiologic technology program.
    • Preferred 1-2 years of clinical experience.
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS certification required.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in X-ray imaging and electronic health record systems.
    • Familiarity with PACS, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in X-ray imaging and electronic health record software.
  • Knowledgeable in PACS and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with communication tools and safety management software.
