Position Overview:
The Radiologic Imaging Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images for medical evaluation. This role requires interaction with various healthcare professionals, clerical staff, patients, and their families, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing accurate radiologic examinations to generate optimal images.
  • Engaging with patients and their families to provide information and support.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participating in continuous education to stay updated on new techniques and procedures.
  • Handling equipment and assisting in various imaging modalities, including portable and emergency imaging.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a two-year certificate program in Radiology Technology accredited by the ASRT.
  • Registration or eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Radiology Technology.
  • Current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience exceeding one year in diagnostic radiology or a similar area.

Physical Requirements:
Applicants should be capable of:
  • Regularly lifting and moving equipment weighing 25 lbs or more.
  • Engaging in activities such as standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
