Key Responsibilities:
As a Radiology Intervention Specialist, your duties will include:
- Preparing and educating patients for procedures by reviewing their medical history and ensuring proper positioning.
- Assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventional procedures.
- Monitoring and analyzing imaging results to address any quality issues.
- Providing patient education regarding procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Maintaining safety standards and performing quality control on imaging equipment.
- Participating in the training and orientation of new staff members.
- Engaging in departmental initiatives to improve workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program.
- Eligibility for registry or registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- A valid Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License prior to the start date.
- Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology within the first year of employment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires constant physical activity, including standing, reaching, and manipulating equipment. Frequent activities may include lifting and crouching.
