Job Overview:

As a Systems Engineer, you will be pivotal in delivering innovative solutions to intricate challenges at General Dynamics Information Technology. Your expertise will be crucial in customizing advanced solutions tailored to the distinct needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities:
? Design and establish system architecture for both new and existing computing systems.
? Oversee the workflows of organizational computer systems, ensuring reliable operation through maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of network issues, along with updating hardware and software.
? Provide technical assistance in managing networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
? Diagnose and resolve moderately complex hardware and software system issues.
? Educate end users on the effective use of hardware and software.
? Execute software installations and upgrades for operating systems and additional software packages.
? Monitor and optimize system performance to achieve peak efficiency.
? Safeguard workstation/server data integrity by implementing standardized software and hardware solutions.
? Ensure data/media recoverability through a systematic schedule of backups and database archiving.
? Conduct audits of hardware and software on workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards and policies.
? Guarantee that the performance and security of computing systems meet the requirements of network users.
? Evaluate existing systems and assist in the formulation of long-term strategies.
? Mentor and guide less-experienced professionals.

? Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
? Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience
? Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
? Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills
