Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Coordinator to join our team at Clatsop Care Retirement Village in Astoria, OR. As an Assisted Living Medication Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient-centered care to our senior residents and other patients.

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive pay, plus benefits including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, as well as 457b retirement options for tax-deferred investment and paid time off (PTO).

About Us:

Clatsop Care Retirement Village is a part of Clatsop Care Health District that provides a variety of services to meet each individual's needs. Our services include healthcare, assisted living, short-term and long-term care, nursing homes, retirement communities, memory care, hospice, palliative, and in-home care.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer medications according to healthcare provider instructions and within the scope of your duties.
  • Ensure residents' environments are comfortable and safe.
  • Report any changes in the condition of residents to the supervising nurse and keep accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Care Coordinator, you should have:

  • Exceptional people skills.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care setting would be ideal but we will train.
