About the Position

The Automotive Assistant and Service Manager is a key role in our team, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our repair shop. This includes scheduling mechanics and technicians' work, ordering parts, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs that exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, as well as basic math and PC skills. They will also possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager and relate to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule mechanics and technicians' work
  • Order parts and ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure quality and timely completion of jobs
  • Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager
  • Relate to customers and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
