Sales & Events Coordinator

The Sales & Events Coordinator at The Verve Hotel - Boston Natick is responsible for coordinating and managing sales activities as well as organizing and executing events at our hotel. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and client relationship management.
- Plan, organize, and execute various events, such as weddings, conferences, and corporate meetings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure successful event planning and execution.
- Create and maintain event calendars and schedules to ensure timely coordination and execution of events.
- Handle event logistics, such as venue selection, catering arrangements, audiovisual setup, and guest coordination.
- Assist with preparing and monitoring event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless and successful event execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in sales and event coordination or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
