Job Overview

AppleTree Staffing is seeking a committed Field Service Technician to support our client's operations in Johnson County.

About Our Client:

With over three decades of experience, our client began as a leader in equipment refurbishment. As their clientele grew, so did their service offerings. They now provide pumps, perform repairs, and deliver a variety of imaging services to assist businesses across multiple sectors. This expansion has led to the establishment of three affiliated companies that collaborate closely, creating numerous opportunities for growth across different industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate work orders and organize daily travel plans to address existing accounts, including investigating and resolving issues, conducting tests, and troubleshooting.
  • Review system specifications to determine service needs, procure necessary components and parts, complete installations, and execute acceptance testing.
  • Foster positive customer relationships by addressing concerns, identifying solutions, and recommending enhancements to processes and techniques.
  • Ensure personal equipment remains functional by adhering to operating guidelines, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs as necessary. Thoroughly document service and installation activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Uphold customer confidentiality and build trust by safeguarding service information.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices by engaging in educational opportunities and reviewing professional literature.
  • Leverage your expertise as a Field Service Technician to offer technical support for various point-of-sale systems in diverse environments.
  • Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for electronics, IT, and digital sales, combining technical proficiency with a customer-focused approach.
  • Contribute significantly to our team's success by utilizing your knowledge of Verifone systems, where we are recognized as the leading trainer in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably with point-of-sale systems.
  • Genuine interest in electronics, IT, and digital sales, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
  • Familiarity with Verifone systems, or a willingness to quickly become an expert through our training program.
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
