POSITION: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to enhance our service team.
This role involves significant travel for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of shot blasting machinery.
Our ideal candidate will excel in delivering outstanding customer service, contributing to service excellence that elevates customer satisfaction, fosters loyalty, and drives profitability for RX2 Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support and service during field operations by assessing system needs, troubleshooting issues, addressing customer inquiries, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Respond promptly to technical service requests from clients.
  • Carry out the installation of new equipment and oversee start-up procedures on-site.
  • Maintain client confidentiality regarding service details.
  • Develop and manage daily work schedules.
  • Organize travel itineraries for service visits.
  • Foster strong client relationships by suggesting system enhancements, resolving issues, and proposing improved operational methods.
  • Document service and installation activities through comprehensive reports and logs.
  • During downtime, assist in the Assembly Department with the construction of new machinery as needed.
  • Establish positive rapport with clients.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a service-related role.
  • Proficiency in electronics and mechanical systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct tests effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Capability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
