Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team at T.D. Williamson. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Equipment Operations and Maintenance
    • Assist certified technicians in the handling, assembly, operation, and disassembly of TDW equipment during field operations.
    • Ensure safe, proper maintenance, and use of equipment and satisfactory completion of the job.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Comply with TDW and customer HSE standards and procedures.
    • Stop any work utilizing TDW equipment when unsafe conditions exist that threaten equipment, property damage, or bodily injury.
  • Professional Development
    • Acquire knowledge of TDW equipment functions, repairs, and services to enable efficient field performance for HT&P field applications.
    • Learn and apply approved safety procedures to ensure the personal safety of all parties involved in the field work.
    • Follow standard troubleshooting procedures to alleviate problems encountered in the field, ensuring safe and efficient field performance from equipment.
  • Administrative and Maintenance Follow-ups
    • Prepare and submit expense reports in accordance with established procedures.
    • Work in the workshop in equipment preparation/maintenance and stock management as required by management.
    Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A technical graduate degree combined with three to five years of experience in a mechanical field.
  • Experience in working overseas and/or in refineries or plants is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Good communication skills in English, any other language is an asset.
