Job Summary

The Medical Lab Technician role at MultiCare Health System, Inc. offers a dynamic range of daily work functions from patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, to data analysis and technical problem resolutions. This position is an exciting technical opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and identify specimens, ensuring positive identification and suitability for testing.
  • Determine the need for reagents and prepare them as required.
  • Perform instrument maintenance and calibration to ensure accurate test results.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • Current Certification of Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP)CM, or registry eligible.
  • Minimum one year of previous laboratory experience preferred.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $28.39 - $46.94 USD.
