Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Motor Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance electric motors for our eVTOL aircraft. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our next-generation aircraft, the Helix.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance electric motors for eVTOL aircraft
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate motor designs into aircraft systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and design specifications
  • Conduct testing and validation of motor designs to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on electric motor design and development
  • Proven expertise in design and analysis tools, such as Catia V5 and Excel
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with eVTOL aircraft design and development
  • Knowledge of industry design and documentation standards, such as GD&T and ASME
