About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at UNC Health Johnston. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Nursery Newborn Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the Nursery Newborn Unit, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
