Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager/Director to coordinate and deliver patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and utilize patient education materials to promote patient understanding and engagement.
  • Evaluate patient care and identify areas for improvement, seeking guidance as needed to revise the plan of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote continuity of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
