Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in nursing care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or pediatric setting.
