Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
