Job Summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex needs, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient plans, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and emerging trends in critical care nursing.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU or critical care setting.
