Senior Manager, Real Estate Fund Accounting and Operations

Intrepidus Talent Solutions is in search of a Senior Manager, Real Estate Income Fund Accounting and Operations. Position Summary
The selected candidate will take on a pivotal role within the expanding Real Estate Income team, responsible for overseeing the financial records and reporting for diverse Real Estate Income funds. This role involves ensuring precise and timely financial reporting to clients and regulatory bodies, while also managing offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with fund documents, advisory agreements, and relevant legal frameworks in fund accounting.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to review and reconcile complex transactions.
- Manage liquidity by preparing distributions and drawdowns from various investment vehicles.
- Oversee the independent auditors, custodians, and fund administrators in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy in complex calculations and performance metrics.
- Engage in firm-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public or private accounting, with at least 2 years in the investment management sector.
- Strong understanding of Real Estate funds as an asset class.
- Familiarity with investment management operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL and PowerBI is advantageous.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $160,000, complemented by discretionary bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, and flexible work arrangements. Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and industry expertise.
