Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Real Estate Income Fund Accounting and Operations to oversee our accounting and operational functions related to real estate income funds.
- Ensure accurate accounting of funds in accordance with governing documents, advisory agreements, and legal stipulations.
- Review and reconcile complex transaction setups while collaborating with both internal and external partners.
- Manage liquidity by preparing capital and income distributions, as well as drawdowns from various investment vehicles.
- Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Analyze financial reports that involve complex calculations of allocations, waterfalls, fees, and performance metrics.
- Engage in firm-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and operations.
- Background in real estate funds and investments is essential.
- Familiarity with investment management operations is required.
- CPA designation is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is necessary.
