About the Role

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Asset Performance Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the group and supporting all asset performance related activities for the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Establish and implement business objectives, strategies, and plans to drive asset performance and reliability.
  • Manage Financial and Human Resources: Manage and allocate financial and employee resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct Special Studies and Analyses: Conduct special studies and analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for management.
  • Develop and Implement New Strategies and Processes: Research, analyze, develop, and implement new strategies, programs, and processes to improve asset performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and develop capital projects to ensure a high level of reliability, risk mitigation, and customer service.
  • Facilitate Improvement Efforts: Facilitate collaborative improvement efforts with other entities to drive asset performance and reliability.
  • Develop Performance Analysis and Reporting: Develop performance analysis and reporting to identify major issues and risks that can be used to make decisions to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency of assets.
  • Lead Development of New Data Science Models: Lead the development of new data science models in the area of asset performance.
  • Provide Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to less experienced staff members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of seven years related experience in an applicable field directly related to position responsibilities.
  • Skills: Program design skills, teamwork skills, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree: Candidates with an Engineering degree are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Company's Strategic Plan: Knowledge of Company's strategic plan, objectives for specific area, as well as Company policies, procedures, and practices and federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.
