Position Summary

The Administrative Property Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive clerical, word processing, and computer support to the director's office and other designated staff.

  • Prepare business correspondence, reports, and documentation using a personal computer.
  • Draft and compose routine communications for approval.
  • Transcribe dictation with accuracy.
  • Manage property-related duties as assigned.
  • Generate recurring reports for review and approval.
  • Facilitate email communication by sending and retrieving messages.
  • Handle fax communications and manage incoming messages.
  • Ensure a secure environment for all office equipment and data.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences, providing information and taking notes.
  • Coordinate appointments and maintain the director's schedule.
  • Organize meetings and conferences effectively.
  • Establish and uphold confidential files and records.
  • Proofread documents to correct grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Order necessary office supplies and equipment.
  • Operate office machinery and provide guidance to others on their use.
  • Demonstrate and promote appropriate communication and employability skills.
  • Maintain accountability for staff, students, and property.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in all responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One year of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with youth is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
