Overview:

The Senior Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating patient intake and ongoing care processes. This position not only supports junior coordinators but also serves as a primary contact for patients entering the facility. The role encompasses all responsibilities of a Patient Care Coordinator II, with an elevated level of expertise and proficiency. Key tasks include welcoming and registering patients, verifying insurance details, scheduling appointments, managing phone inquiries, updating patient records, processing referrals, collecting payments, and ensuring accurate charge entries. The Senior Coordinator will also oversee the preparation of patient charts, manage payroll processes, track attendance, and monitor quality metrics. This role requires a high degree of independence, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve operational challenges effectively. Additionally, the Senior Coordinator will mentor new staff and exemplify professionalism and service excellence.

Qualifications:
