Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Specialist to join our team at Tri Counties Bank. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for reviewing and documenting commercial and small business loans to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper loan and collateral documentation by staying up-to-date with various laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare loan documentation accurately and completely, consistent with approval terms and conditions.
  • Analyze proposed loans and modify loan structures as necessary to mitigate Bank risk and loss.
  • Work with branch personnel, title companies, insurance agents, appraisers, and credit administrators to address any issues discovered during file reviews.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of entity, collateral, and title documentation and concepts.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial and business banking credit policies, Bank underwriting, regulatory compliance, and other relevant requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior loan documentation experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including AS400 and Windows-based systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and demands, work independently with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
