Document Management Specialist III

Job Summary:

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a skilled Document Management Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for operating equipment and importing documents into our document management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hard document scanning, cleaning, indexing, and archiving
  • Retrieve electronic and hard copy assets from repository for distribution to users, collecting and returning to repository, if necessary
  • Search electronic sources, such as databases or repositories, or manual sources for information
  • Implement scanning or other automated data entry procedures, using imaging devices and document imaging software
  • Identify and classify/index documents or other electronic content according to characteristics
  • Prepare and record changes to official documents and confirm changes with legal and compliance management staff
  • Work with highly sensitive and confidential documents and information
  • Operate large plotters and scanners for the purpose of printing and scanning large engineering drawings

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 or more years of experience with various imaging devices
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Requires a professional attitude and appearance
  • Work requires high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Physical activity required includes bending, light lifting, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting
