Job Summary

As a Document Management Specialist III at Canon Business Process Services, Inc., you will be responsible for operating equipment and importing documents into our document management system. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operate equipment and import documents into document management system
Perform hard document scanning, cleaning, indexing, and archiving
Retrieve electronic and hard copy assets from repository for distribution to users, collecting and returning to repository, if necessary
Search electronic sources, such as databases or repositories, or manual sources for information
Implement scanning or other automated data entry procedures, using imaging devices and document imaging software
Identify and classify/index documents or other electronic content according to characteristics
Prepare and record changes to official documents and confirm changes with legal and compliance management staff
Work with highly sensitive and confidential documents and information
Operate large plotters and scanners for the purpose of printing and scanning large engineering drawings

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
5 or more years of experience with various imaging devices
Good computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to meet deadlines
Physical activity required includes bending, light lifting, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting
Mental qualifications include ability to index documents
