Role Summary:

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing programs, events, and activities tailored to the interests and needs of students, parents, and the school community. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing critical thinking, independence, and social-emotional learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for the program in the absence of the Resource Coordinator.
  • Make informed decisions to effectively manage the program, including handling scheduling changes and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and services provided.
  • Assist with the billing process and manage the invoicing roster.
  • Provide administrative support for school programs.
  • Supervise and guide students and staff as required.
  • Facilitate staff development by organizing and conducting training sessions.
  • Uphold behavioral standards for students in accordance with established practices.
  • Foster positive relationships with school administration, teachers, parents, students, and community stakeholders.
  • Develop communication tools for engaging with grant providers and community members.
  • Build partnerships with local organizations to enhance program resources and support.
  • Encourage collaboration and community engagement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Resource Coordinator.
Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or a related field, or actively pursuing such a degree.
