Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Officer II to join our team at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. As a key member of our Division of Equipment Warehouse, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient management of Kentucky's highway systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the outflow of Warehouse property with district staff and contractors
  • Physically inspect, tag, and log incoming property
  • Manage records of property acquisition, surplus, transfers, and values
  • Review and manage operating procedures in inventory, control, and transfer of property
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • Two years of experience in inventory, control, sales, or disposal, or a related field
Working Conditions

This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack, and will be required to travel for equipment inventory and road events.
