Job Summary

The Cabinet for Health and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Resource Management Analyst II to support software systems and processes in use by the Division of Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will serve as a liaison and resource for surveyors and management staff regarding technology issues, assist and provide training to staff using software and IT applications within the Division, and provide statewide user support with troubleshooting on the function and usage of the Division's Federal and State software applications.

Responsibilities

Support software systems processes in use by the Division of Health Care
Act as liaison and resource regarding technology issues
Assist staff using the software and IT applications
Provide statewide user support with troubleshooting on the function and usage of the Division's Federal and State software applications
Analyze reports, statistics, and databases for compliance with state/federal requirements and data requests for the Division, other Agencies, and the public
Analyze alternatives for data collection/manipulation/storage/retrieval/dissemination of information to make appropriate recommendations based on the needs of the Division
Assess prevalence of user's problems/issues with software applications and processes
Provide training to improve efficiency of operations based on assessment
Provide resources to support state/federal requirements
Serve as a resource/liaison between management, Commonwealth Office of Technology, and vendor/agencies for IT projects
Performs installation/upgrades/testing for software
Post updates and Facility information onto Division's website for public use

Requirements

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Two years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience
Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis
Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
