Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Development Specialist II to join our team at the Finance and Administration Cabinet's Office of Fleet Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and conducting employee training programs, as well as coordinating updates and changes to our web portal and providing customer service and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and conduct employee training programs
  • Coordinate updates and changes to our web portal
  • Provide customer service and administrative functions
  • Train agency contacts and employees on Geotab GPS capabilities and requirements
  • Conduct class evaluations and provide feedback
  • Meet with customer agency leadership and representatives to refine training and discuss agency concerns
  • Oversee and coordinate Fleet employee training programs and requirements
Requirements
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
  • Two years of professional experience in planning, coordinating, or conducting staff development and training courses, personnel administration or teaching, or professional experience in providing or administering human services or governmental programs
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on written communications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Word and Excel
Working Conditions

Incumbents working in this job title perform duties in an office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
