Job Summary:

The Encore Boston Harbor Count Team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Count Team management to ensure the timely review and reporting of financial information.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with ability to identify and resolve errors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
