Managed Care Contracting Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Managed Care Contract Specialist to join our team at CAIPA MSO LLC. As a key member of our contracting team, you will play a critical role in negotiating and managing contracts with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with health plans and internal departments to communicate and implement contract terms
- Coordinate and support contracting activities, including value-based agreements
- Evaluate and review contract language proposals, track redlines, and proposed drafts
- Serve as an internal liaison on contract provisions and policies, providing updates and educating staff on changes
- Develop and implement communication and education strategies on health plan policies and issues for CAIPA providers
- Track, document, and communicate contract progress and contracting issues
- Build and maintain provider relationships through active outreach
- Lead and report on monthly meetings
- Work with providers, health plans, and internal departments
- Assist with various projects and complete tasks on time
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present information and respond to questions
- Proven analytical skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, organization, and time management skills
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office products
- Bachelor's Degree or two years related experience and/or training
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time for field work with providers
