Managed Care Contracting Specialist

CAIPA MSO LLC is seeking a highly skilled Managed Care Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our contracting team, you will play a critical role in negotiating and managing contracts with health plans and providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Contracting Manager in negotiating and managing contracts with health plans and providers.
- Support network strategies and initiatives through effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and review contract language proposals, coordinate and track redline and proposed drafts.
- Serve as an internal liaison on contract provisions and policies, providing updates and educating staff on the impact of changes.
- Develop and implement communication and education strategies on health plan policies and issues for CAIPA providers.
- Track, document, and communicate the progress of contracts and contracting issues.
- Build and maintain provider relationships through active outreach and lead monthly meetings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from representatives, providers, and the general public.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor's Degree or two years related experience and/or training.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time for field work with providers.
