Compliance Manager

At Morris Group, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our compliance program across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and implement robust Department of Defense and export compliance policies.
- Provide guidance to program managers on International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Requirement Supplement (DFARS), CMMC licensing policies, regulations, guidelines, and practices.
- Act as a resource for all inquiries related to export control regulations and licensing policies as they apply to international transactions and program activities.
- Respond to inquiries from external entities, including customers, governmental agencies, and potential business partners.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and supporting company export compliance training seminars.
- Responsible for training, preparing, and submitting license applications and security protocols required for ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and CMMC compliance.
- Monitoring internal policies and bylaws; address regulatory risks or misconduct and finding solutions; work with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.
- Ensuring Morris Group Inc. product offerings are compliant with General Services Administration (GSA) listing requirements; support the Morris Government Solutions team through ongoing consultative services.
- Support departments and local operating companies by collecting and coordinating internal compliance; continually conduct audits to ensure compliance.
- 10+ years of experience in Export Control (ITAR, EAR and DOD regulations).
- BSc/BA or equivalent experience in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- PMP certification, preferred or equivalent experience in project management.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of the following compliances, ITAR, EAR, DFARS, CMMC, GSA listing process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record creating and delivering effective training.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong internal audit skills.
