Role Summary:
We are looking for a Marketing Technology Associate to enhance our Marketing team. This position focuses on the tools and software that facilitate the measurement, attribution, and optimization of digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical approach, proven project management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of contemporary marketing technologies. This role will involve collaboration with various departments, including Technology, Product, and Data, to ensure effective integration and utilization of marketing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the entire lifecycle of marketing technology, from vendor evaluation to implementation and adoption, focusing on new attribution and measurement tools for digital marketing.
- Assist in the deployment and management of the Google Marketing Platform, including GA4 and other related tools.
- Engage in the RFP process for new marketing technology vendors.
- Collaborate with Financial Planning and Accounts Payable to monitor marketing technology expenditures and vendor documentation.
- Integrate multiple data sources to deliver comprehensive reporting and insights into marketing initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, particularly regarding new data and technology practices.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to support marketing and product strategies with available data.
- Provide assistance to Sourcing and Legal teams regarding inquiries about new vendors and technologies.
- Act as a resource for reporting on CRM, ad server, web analytics, and customer data platform systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a broad understanding of various channels and systems.
- Basic proficiency in SQL and Excel, including the ability to create SELECT statements and pivot tables for dynamic reporting.
- A general knowledge of ad servers, programmatic technology, web analytics, and customer data platforms.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing principles, including search, social media, and email marketing.
- Familiarity with tag management tools, such as Tealium and Google Tag Manager.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
