Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in the success of advertising sales, marketing, and events at Martinelli Holdings LLC. This hybrid position requires a strong support system for the sales and marketing teams, as well as administrative and office management tasks.

ResponsibilitiesAdvertising Responsibilities
  • Assist the Publisher with special projects and reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide backup support for Account Executives when they are on the road, ensuring seamless communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Advertising Operations to track and distribute incoming leads to the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, charts, and presentations to support sales efforts.
  • Assist with client prospecting and updating client records in the CRM system.
Marketing and Event Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Marketing and Events in creating engaging social media content, email blasts, and advertising proposals.
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including the Best of Bethesda Party and other third-party events.
  • Coordinate booth participation, signage, and supplies for Martinelli Holdings LLC's events.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones, and directing calls and messages.
  • Greet office visitors and manage the mail center, including mailings and postage.
  • Manage the copy machine and maintain a well-stocked supply closet.
  • Obtain and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Train new employees and interns on office procedures and equipment.
  • Plan and execute office celebrations and events.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience supporting a marketing and sales operation.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with a CRM system and email platforms.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
