Job Title: Employee Benefits Account Manager - Insurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team at GPAC. As an Employee Benefits Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs, including health, life, and disability insurance. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions to meet their goals.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing reports to analyze client data and identify trends
* Compare health plan benefits and costs to ensure clients receive the best value
* Calculate employee contributions and develop strategies to meet client budgetary requirements
* Prepare annual client service plans to ensure seamless delivery of services
* Collect new client information and author correspondence, communication materials, and compliance notices as required
* Negotiate rates and benefits with carriers to secure the best possible deals
* Audit client information, premium, and commission splits in our Agency Management System

Qualifications:

* Health & Life License REQUIRED
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to assist the Producer in organizing and meeting deadlines
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of employee benefits/health plan implementation and administration
* Ability to negotiate rates and benefits with carriers
* Experience in SalesForce a Plus but not required
