We are currently seeking a Senior Strategic Consultant to assist the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Program Executive Office (PEO).

The DCSA PEO manages a comprehensive portfolio of enterprise-wide information technology (IT) initiatives that utilize best practice methodologies to deliver innovative IT solutions, enhancing DCSA's extensive National Security capabilities to better serve the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Government, and the cleared industry.

The Senior Strategic Consultant will play a crucial role in facilitating high-level planning and forward-thinking strategies to enhance the PEO organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all facets of strategic planning for PEO and program initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of plans.
  • Develop and present detailed reports to senior management regarding the status, progress, and effectiveness of strategic projects.
  • Provide expert counsel and recommendations on strategic issues to senior leaders and managers, aiding in decision-making and aligning projects with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and map key stakeholders critical to the organizational strategy, ensuring their needs and perspectives are incorporated into planning processes.
  • Conduct interviews and focus groups to gather insights and data that support strategy formulation, ensuring a wide range of input is considered.
  • Analyze findings from interviews and focus groups to develop and refine strategic plans, including objectives, actions, and performance metrics.
  • Engage with stakeholders, leaders, and managers to socialize strategic plans, integrating their feedback to finalize and enhance strategies.
  • Occasionally directed in complex tasks, gaining exposure to advanced aspects of strategic planning within a federal government context.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing complex federal government acquisition projects.
  • Certification in Project Management is required, demonstrating a formal understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee comprehensive strategic plans and implementation processes, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Experience in preparing detailed reports for senior management, showcasing the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Strong background in providing strategic advice and recommendations, with a focus on aligning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Skilled in stakeholder identification and mapping, with experience conducting interviews and focus groups to support strategy development.
  • Proven experience in socializing and refining strategic plans, with a track record of integrating feedback from various organizational levels to finalize effective strategies.
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
