Engaging Responsibilities: As a Strategic Communications and Specialized Studies Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the mission of PEO LS to optimize processes and expedite capability delivery. Key Duties:

  • Strategic Communication: Design and execute communication strategies that align with the goals of the PEO LS Strategic Plan, with an emphasis on process optimization and rapid capability delivery.
  • Specialized Studies and Analysis: Perform thorough studies and provide insights in support of various programs under PEO LS, acting as a special action cell to tackle emerging challenges.
  • Program Management: Utilize your extensive background in managing large-scale systems and Command and Control (C2) systems, ensuring alignment with PEO LS objectives and enhancing the delivery of combat capabilities.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with PEO LS leadership and stakeholders to facilitate the integration of strategic initiatives, offering guidance and insights to maximize outcomes.

Impactful Work: Apply your skills, knowledge, experience, and determination to drive change within the United States Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and our nation. Your contributions will directly support the safety and security of our nation's service members.

Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • *Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Studies, National Security, Business Administration, Public Administration, Strategic Communication, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in leadership roles, strategic planning, and operational management.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to communicate effectively at executive levels and lead complex initiatives.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to apply initiative and judgment to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • *Master's Degree in Strategic Studies, National Security, Business Administration, Public Administration, Strategic Communication, or a related field.
  • 20+ years of experience in leadership roles, strategic planning, and operational management.
  • Direct experience in Program Management of large-scale systems, particularly within the Marine Corps.
  • Extensive knowledge of Command and Control (C2) systems, with a preference for Marine Corps experience.

*Experience may substitute for educational requirements for this role.

Clearance Requirement:

Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; DOD TS/SCI Level clearance is mandatory.
