YOUR NEXT ROLE:

The Project Management Assistant is an introductory position in project management, designed to cultivate skills and expertise in essential tasks and responsibilities. This role includes providing administrative and construction support to our Project Management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize project documentation, including submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and meeting notes.
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing project activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and project standards.
  • Maintain logs for change orders, submittals, and document control, preparing necessary documentation for construction meetings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely contract submittals.
  • Facilitate the creation and distribution of Subcontractor contracts.
  • Compile and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals promptly.
  • Adhere to the project quality control plan.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to gather the required documentation for Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Keep the Warranty Log updated.
  • Participate in company and project meetings, providing support to project management.
  • Assist field personnel with technical needs related to the assigned responsibilities.
  • Monitor the activities and progress of other contractors.
  • Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
  • Prepare price change orders and project reports.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • The duties outlined are representative of the general nature and scope of work, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

  • Understanding of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methodologies.
  • Professional demeanor with effective interaction skills across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven excellence in organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify and meet customer expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements positively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a construction-related position.
  • A combination of training, education, and relevant work experience may be considered.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Up to 25% travel may be necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The general work environment involves sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. Work is primarily conducted indoors with varying conditions, including fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

Noise levels are typically low to medium.

PAY RANGE: $57,300.00 - $86,000.00 annually. This range reflects the expected compensation for candidates meeting the specified qualifications and requirements.
