Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Manager to join our Transit-as-a-Service (TaaS) Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, driving continuous improvement, and growth of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and an exceptional customer experience
  • Oversee operations in person during the start of service to ensure we meet service standards
  • Manage driver supply to ensure the right number of drivers are on the road to meet demand
  • Prioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise
  • Respond to driver feedback and live customer issues
  • Collaborate with a broad interdisciplinary team to scale operational processes, systems, and tools to drive rapid growth
Requirements:
  • A socially perceptive, environmentally conscious individual who is aligned with promoting transportation equity and reducing carbon emissions
  • A self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
  • A driven executor with a track record of end-to-end ownership of a book of business and a history of hitting KPIs and revenue goals
  • A team-focused individual who takes ownership of their work and pride in their team's success
  • Experienced in project management, creating and refining operational processes, and customer service
  • Multi-site management experience is a plus
  • An outgoing and sociable leader who is skilled at communicating professionally with partners, customers, and driver partners from a broad range of backgrounds
  • Willing to wear multiple hats and contribute on projects of all types
  • Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
  • Based in the Charlottesville, VA area and can easily commute to operations
  • Experienced in managing a team, including scheduling, is a plus
  • Taking initiative and owning new projects
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving/adapting as conditions change
  • Experienced in managing projects with multiple stakeholders is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable
  • Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
