Role Overview

Under general supervision, you will provide technical expertise and direction for designated Reliability Engineering initiatives and programs at the assigned site.

  • Evaluate, analyze, and formulate suitable recommendations concerning assigned Reliability Engineering projects.
  • Utilize innovative technologies with minimal oversight to continuously enhance site safety, operational efficiencies, cost management, quality assurance, and environmental protection.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams and other Engineering personnel in troubleshooting efforts to enhance safety, efficiencies, cost management, and environmental protection.
  • Coordinate project activities with Operations and Maintenance departments to optimize equipment maintenance availability and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation of documentation for assigned projects and review documentation for precision.
  • Engage in small to medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects.
  • Manage contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertinent to the area of assignment.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline and three (3) years of applicable experience in Engineering, OR
  • Master's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline and two (2) years of applicable experience in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in probability and statistical analysis.
  • Understanding of the principles and practices of Reliability Engineering.
  • Able to research and analyze complex information and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety protocols.
  • Skilled in adhering to safety practices and identifying hazards.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Completion of Reliability Engineering coursework.
  • SMRP or CMRP Certification.
  • Experience or Certification in Six Sigma.
Additional Requirements
  • Candidates may be required to undergo a medical examination.
  • Candidates must successfully complete all required training and/or assessments.
  • Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work in a 24/7 operational environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $87,000 - $121,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not encompass bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
