Key Responsibilities:
- Site Inspections: Regularly visit project sites to observe and document ongoing activities, ensuring that construction work is being performed in compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed work to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications. Report any deviations or deficiencies to the Monitoring Project Engineer.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of site visits, inspections, and observations. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Monitoring Project Engineer, highlighting any issues or concerns.
- Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the construction site and the project management team. Communicate any issues, delays, or changes in the construction process to the appropriate parties.
- Environmental Compliance: Oversee and document environmental conditions on the construction site, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits. Report any violations or concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Safety and Equipment: Ensure that all construction equipment is being used properly and maintained according to safety standards. Report any malfunctions or misuse to the site supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on on-site monitoring, quality control, or safety inspection.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and equipment.
