Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and planning nutrition care for pediatric patients. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple pediatric specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.
  • Counsel patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems and developing plans of instruction and nutritional care.
  • Identify inpatients at nutritional risk and document recommendations.
  • Participate in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and nutritional standards.
  • Conduct education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in nutritional sciences.
  • Prior specialty experience preferred.
  • Current NH Dietitian license required.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The shift is day shift. The job ID is 27115.
