Job Summary:

The Director, Business Process Optimization and Improvement will play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's operational efficiency, quality, service, and continuous improvement. This position will be responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive business process improvement team, as well as optimizing strategy that is aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead activities focused on learning and optimizing the organization's business processes.
  • Oversee Business Process Design & Improvement on major projects and provide forward-looking technical, process, systems, and organizational guidance within and outside of the group.
  • Develop research initiatives to study best practices and industry trends related to business process optimization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders and work with cross-functional teams to gather input for transformation with impact enterprise-wide.
  • Ensure project decision-making is aligned with strategic and business objectives.
  • Establish processes and tools to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and produce data-driven analyses of critical functions.
  • Oversee and direct documentation, tools, and training to support the adoption of new business processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Green Belt certification.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, execution, and relationship building skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Proficiency in operational process improvement methodology and business process management techniques.
  • Proven experience in business process optimization, preferably in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to make decisions considering long-term implications.
  • Knowledgeable in Operational risk management practices.
  • Proficient in process mapping.
