Position Overview

Location: Somerset, PA

Work Schedule: Full-Time - 40 Hours/Week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Weekend Homecare (8 Hours Monthly) Required

Compensation: Starting at $15.50 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on documented caregiving experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for elderly participants by:

  • Assisting with daily living activities and personal care services.
  • Facilitating recreational activities within our Adult Day Center and, when necessary, at participants' residences.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Licensure: A valid PA Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in caregiving for elderly or frail individuals is essential. Experience in roles such as personal care aide, home health aide, or nursing assistant is preferred.

  • Exhibiting discretion, patience, and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrating empathy and compassion towards the elderly population.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute non-technical verbal and written instructions, as well as maintain accurate records.
