The successful candidate will provide assistance with daily activities, such as preparing meals, administering medication, and providing transportation to work or community activities. They will also participate in the development and implementation of individual support plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals in their care.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to help others, have a strong commitment to providing quality support, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
In return, Passavant Memorial Homes offers a competitive wage of $18.00 - $18.50 an hour, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, and a generous PTO package. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and specialized care in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
- Support and assist individuals to foster maximum independence.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual support plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
