Position Responsibilities
  • Utilize forklifts and other machinery to efficiently manage the receipt and dispatch of finished goods and supplies, interpreting Pick Lists from the Shipping Office.
  • Retrieve finished products from inventory, compile orders, and prepare shipments in alignment with company policies and customer specifications.
  • Receive inbound goods and supplies from various locations, ensuring proper transfer to designated storage areas.
  • Inspect, count, and document the quantities and conditions of products, verifying accuracy against relevant documents and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Cross-check items against Bills of Lading and inform the Supervisor of any inconsistencies.
  • Employ RF Bar Code Scanners for inventory management to maintain accuracy during storage and retrieval processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting, including at least 6 months of forklift operation experience.
  • Proficient in reading numbers and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet certification requirements as per the company’s forklift training program.
  • Consistent attendance and flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Capability to foster effective working relationships and motivate team members.
