Work Schedule:
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in executing various HR initiatives and processes for all personnel, focusing on recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations. You will be equipped with the tools to succeed and the opportunities to develop a career you can take pride in.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position is $25.00. GXO believes this is the current pay rate for this role. However, this rate may be adjusted in the future. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and additional benefits for eligible employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver HR support and customer service to employees
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process by aiding in new hire orientation
- Organize job fair events
- Maintain employee files, ensuring documentation is current, accurate, confidential, and compliant with company policies
- Manage leave programs, including tracking leave and ensuring FMLA compliance, along with preparing related notifications
- Oversee the temporary employee conversion process, including the distribution and processing of evaluation forms, and coordinating orientation
- Audit and manage monthly HR invoicing, including payroll for temporary employees, pre-employment and post-accident testing, HR supplies, etc.
- Develop and implement employee programs, including facility bulletin boards, recognition initiatives, and communication memos
To be considered, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- An associate degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues
